Chocolate Orange Muesli

Chocolate Orange Muesli
Chocolate Orange Muesli with organic yoghurt and fresh fruit.

Making your own homemade muesli is hugely satisfying and super easy! Once you make your first batch you will never buy it again. Here are some benefits of making your own:

  • It’s much cheaper than the bought variety!
    • Bulk buying nuts, seeds & oats allows you to make larger batches to last a couple of weeks at a time and cuts your costs significantly. Perfect for meal prep when you’re making larger batches and makes for a perfect delicious, homemade gift.
  • More nutrient dense, less rubbish.
    • Pre-made muesli varieties can often be filled with questionable ingredients that really are not good for you.
    • Often, pre-bought muesli’s are loaded with hidden sugars, unhealthy oils, rancid nuts & seeds, packaged in plastics for extended periods and more often than not have added flavours and preservatives. You avoid all of these nasties by simply making your own. What a bonus for your health!
  • No Waste!
    • The bonus of having a bulk selection of nuts, seeds and whole food option on hand means you can put together a variety of ingredients in what ever quantities you have in your pantry. The best muesli combinations are often a mixture of random bits and pieces you have lying around that need to be used up.
    • Be relaxed with quantities and use what you have on hand to avoid waste.
